Gerber Meats was started in 1985, in a small butcher shop on the farm just outside of Crosshill. In 1987 a new addition was built on to the existing shop. From the very beginning, the main focus was being a small-town butcher shop supplying its customers with the best products available. To this day, we still buy our beef, pork, and poultry directly from local farms all within an hour of our butcher house. We sell our products out of the butcher shop on our farm as well at the St. Jacobs Farmers Market and the Trails and Market in London. Our products are naturally raised, fed a grain or grass and grain diet, and are humanely raised.
